#2 GREASE OF YOUR CHOICE 

Of course the Alemlube ALS uses NLGI#2 grease, as recommended by every manufacturer of vehicles and machinery. You can choose the best grease for your operation, including greases with up to 5% Moly (molybdenum disulphide).

With very high operating pressure and the ability to have up to three pump outlets, the Alemlube ALS has the ability to reliably service almost any application from a 2x4 truck to a garbage truck to a heavy haulage trailer.

ALS IN ACTION - TRANSPORT - AGRICULTURE & CONSTRUCTION

Road transport today is extremely competitive with trucks commonly travelling 6,000km to 7,000km per week or more.

Finding time to do essential maintenance is becoming increasingly difficult and labour is expensive.

The ALS grease system greases key components every hour, automatically, while the truck is driving.

This reduces labour costs, decreases component wear and tear and allows the truck to continue earning.

HIGHER PRODUCTIVITY

Advances in engine technology are permitting longer and longer service intervals which can translate into lower costs and greater productivity 

if a ALS automatic greasing system is installed.

The ALS system greases key steering, suspension and brake components every hour allowing the truck to stay on the road working and eliminating the need to come into the workshop between scheduled services.

Benefits are higher productivity and better reliability.

Another key benefit is the ALS system using #2 grease. Thicker #2 grease creates a barrier around pins and bushes preventing the entry of water and other contaminants, keeping critical components clean and contamination free means longer life – up to two or three times longer than when greased by hand or with liquid grease systems.

AUTOMATIC GREASING SYSTEMS

The ALS automatic greasing system allows important maintenance work to be done while the machine is working.

Additionally, working in such harsh conditions, contamination is a major problem and bearings block and pins fail quickly if contamination entry is not controlled.

By supplying fresh #2 grade grease to the bearings every half hour or hour, a protective barrier around all the pins is maintained to stop soil, dust and water getting in and eventually causing failures.

Farmers can sew and harvest around the clock knowing that their machines vital pins and bushes are being cared for as they work.

Breakdowns are reduced and crops are grown and harvested more efficiently.

CONSTRUCTION MACHINES

Managing the time and resources to properly maintain construction machines can be very difficult and expensive. Machines working in aggressive environments need greasing at least once or twice every day.

Often, production, safety and access issues make this essential maintenance task both costly and disruptive. Lost production time and labour costs quickly add-up and additionally, when a machine is stopped for greasing, other processes around it often also have to stop - such as wheel loaders loading trucks.

Also if critical production machines suffer downtime due to bearing failure, the costs of replacing the machine with a machine from somewhere else in the operation, or a temporary hire machine, can be very high.

Fitting critical machines with ALS lubrication systems ensures that greasing does not disrupt production and that machine efficiency, reliability and productivity will increase.

FRONT SIDE & REAR LOADERS

Side lift (domestic) trucks and front lift (industrial) trucks have much more demanding lubrication requirements than bare truck chassis or prime movers.

City based side lifter arm and paddle mechanisms can perform thousands of cycles per day, rain hail or shine. Keeping these hard working pins and bushes full of grease and contamination free is a job that ALS excels in. Grade 2 grease applied every 30 minutes to 1 hour continually forces contaminants out of the pins, increasing their life and reducing wear.

On front lift trucks, vey large heavily loaded pins and bushes must also be kept clean and lubricated daily to ensure long and trouble free life.

Due to the heavy loads and high repetitions, small bearing problems can quickly escalate into costly lost time issues. ALS helps stop these issues from occurring.

THE ALEMLUBE LUBRICATION SYSTEM

• The ALEMLUBE LUBRICATION SYSTEM (ALS) is a progressive system design designed to work with greases up to NLGI 2.

• Progressive means that the points are lubricated one after another via progressive divider valves.

• The system is designed to provide the correct volume of grease for each grease point.

• If a point refuses to take grease, the pressure in the system will rise in an attempt to force the grease into that point. 

• If the pump pressure exceeds 280Bar, the pump relief valve will activate, giving a visual indication that there is a problem with the system.

KEY COMPONENTS

• The electrical driven piston pump (1) delivers the lubricant to the main (master) divider valve (2).

• From there it is distributed to the secondary dividers (3, 4, 5, 6, 7) in the correct proportions.

• From the secondary dividers the lubricant is conveyed to the lubrication points.

• An on-board controller regulates the lubrication time and the pause time to deliver the correct volume of lubricant. 

• A manual push button is located on the right hand side of the pump next to the power cable.

ILC-MAX PUMP STATION

ELECTRIC PUMPS - GREASE (ILC-MAX-G) and OIL (ILC-MAX-O)

APPLICATIONS

Ideally suitable for the automatic grease lubrication of all types of industrial machines and chassis lubrication for trucks, trailers, buses, construction and mechanical handling vehicles.

In conjunction with DPX progressive dividers, more than three hundred greasing points can be automatically centralised from just a single grease pump.

OPERATION

The pumps are designed for intermittent or continuous operation to provide regular pre-programmed lubrication cycles as required for the application.

A direct-mounted electric geared motor drives an internal rotating cam, which can actuate up to three externally mounted pump elements.

Every pumping element has a relief valve to protect the system against over-pressure and give indication of a blockage downstream.

To have a bigger discharge it is possible to collect the three outlets from the pumping elements together in a single tube.

PUMP DESCRIPTION

The transparent reservoir has 2 KG, 4 KG or 8 KG capacity and metallic reservoir has 5 KG.

The pumps can attain a maximum recommended operating pressure of 250 bar per outlet and delivery of up to 3.52 cc/minute per outlet.

The internal drive shaft is coupled to a specially formed stirring paddle in the reservoir of the pump unit which ensures continuous priming of the pump element inlets, even with grease up to NLGI No. 2 consistency at ambient temperature down to -20 °C.

The gear motor is protected by mean of an IP-56 protection degree covering (NYLON PA6 +30% FIBERGLASS). The seal is guarantee from well mounted “o” ring.

The pumps can have an integrated electronic control timer built into the covering. 

The timer can be pre programmed to automatically operate the pump with variable “working time” and “pause times”.
